Naval’s Recommended Reading
The recommendations section of The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, where Naval Ravikant’s book picks are compiled — split into a Nonfiction list and a Philosophy and Spirituality list, plus his answers on what he’s currently rereading. Framed with his line: “The truth is, I don’t read for self-improvement. I read out of curiosity and interest. The best book is the one you’ll devour,” and its companion: “Read enough, and you become a connoisseur. Then you naturally gravitate more toward theory, concepts, nonfiction.”
Naval leans heavily on rereading — “I find myself rereading as much (or more) as I do reading” — including Richard Feynman (rereading the biography Genius, plus Perfectly Reasonable Deviations from the Beaten Track), and names Jiddu Krishnamurti and Osho as the philosophers he is “pretty much always rereading.”
