Common Room

Common Room is a startup in the developer-relations and community-management software category. swyx groups it with Orbit as one of the “DevRel/DevCommunity dashboard startups” and objects that they are backward-looking: good for boardroom vanity, making charts that go up, but not for acting. He argues that whoever surfaces actionable prompts to DevRel, in the way Slack flags rooms you haven’t used in a while or LinkedIn prompts you to stay in touch on anniversaries and new jobs, will be the real unicorn.
