Slow Boring is the namesake newsletter of Matt Yglesias, the political and economic writer Kyle cites for the “increase immigration to one billion Americans” idea in his Great Softening research. In Kyle’s notes it functions as the surface where Yglesias’s writing on American population, immigration, and dynamism appears — the publication paired with his book One Billion Americans.
