Saïd Business School

Oxford’s business school, and the academic home of John Hoffmire in Kyle’s notes. Hoffmire is faculty there, teaching in the MBA and executive-education programmes, and directed both the Saïd Business School Impact Bond Fund and the Saïd Global Entrepreneur Network. The focus of his teaching is employee ownership and impact investing — the same themes Kyle drew out of his August 2nd, 2014 conversation with Hoffmire at Oxford.

Context: Saïd Business School is the business school of the University of Oxford, founded in 1996 with an endowment from Wafic Saïd. It is known for its MBA, executive education, and programmes oriented toward social impact and entrepreneurship.
