Biased behaviours arranged by severity — biased attitudes, acts of bias, systemic discrimination, bias-motivated violence, genocide — “although the behaviors at each level negatively impact individuals and groups, as one moves up the pyramid, the behaviors have more life-threatening consequences.”

Widely used in schools and training, and widely argued over — the criticism being that the pyramid implies an inevitability of escalation the evidence does not support. Filed as the primary source for a model people mostly encounter second-hand.
