Why it’s on the list: A short, plain-language introduction to Alfred North Whitehead’s process philosophy — the view that reality is made of events and relationships (Becoming) rather than fixed substances (Being). The on-ramp to Process and Reality, which is already on the list.
Where I saw it: kasra (@kasratweets), October 25, 2026: “I have a feeling process philosophy is gonna be my shit,” with a photo of a highlighted page from the book’s preface, “Being and Becoming.” The post doesn’t name the book; it was identified from the preface title and the page’s turn to Plato and Whitehead.
C. Robert Mesle (Templeton Press, 2008), also the author of Process Theology: A Basic Introduction (1993).
