Pop Magic!

Grant Morrison 2003 View original ↗

TL;DR — Comics writer Grant Morrison’s ten-page beginner’s guide to chaos magic: concentration, imagination and the ability to laugh at yourself.

First published in The Book of Lies (Disinformation, 2003). Morrison tells beginners that ritual costume is only an aid to imagination and that “anything you can symbolize” can be used, and he opens with the warning against attributing objective reality to any of it.
