Jeremiah Johnson
Attributed in Chad’s Big Quote Book (the verbatim LDS/gospel quote collection Kyle’s brother Chad gave him) for a single line on aiming high: “In the high jump, you can set the bar for 99; but if you only jump at 99, then you don’t make it over the bar, you hit it, and then you fail.” The surrounding quotes on that page come from figures like Brigham Young and C.S. Lewis; this is the only attribution to Johnson, and the quote book gives no further identification.
