HEX Whitepaper

Richard Heart 2019 View original ↗

TL;DR — The HEX token design — staking mechanics, claim schedule, and outsized ‘whale claim’ provisions.

The token’s own design document: pre-launch claim flow, the schedule from launch day through the last eligible claim day about a year out, and separate treatment for whale claims of 1,000 BTC or more.

⚠️ Filed as an artifact, emphatically not as a recommendation. HEX’s founder was charged by the SEC in 2023 over the HEX and PulseChain offerings; the case’s registration claims were later dismissed on jurisdictional grounds, and the project has been widely described as a Ponzi-shaped design by outside analysts.

The document is worth keeping precisely because it is explicit: the yield mechanics are stated openly, and reading them is more instructive than any summary of the controversy.
