DTV

Why it’s on the list: Moritz’s short account of Don Valentine and the founding of Sequoia — written by a partner, for partners.

Not a published book. DTV runs about seventy pages and was privately printed for internal circulation after Valentine’s death in 2019; a handful of physical copies exist, some of them left in the rooms of a Tuscan hotel Moritz owns. There is no publication date on record and no retail edition, which is why the link below points at the digitized copy (dtvbook.com, live as of 2026-09-17) rather than a bookseller. Saved twice — once as that link, once as a PDF.

Where I saw it: @haris_chc on X, March 16, 2026: “Somebody digitized DTV, a book written by Michael Moritz on Don Valentine and the history of Sequoia.” A PDF copy of the same book was saved separately in the same note.
