CRM Thoughts
A written recommendation Kyle sent after a visit — why DealCloud is the strongest CRM for a mid-to-late-stage firm, and the architectural reason: it’s built on many-to-many relationships, which is what relationship data actually is. The clearest short statement in the corpus of what he wants from a relationship CRM.
Notes
- Hey - thanks again for having me at your absurd office last week.
- I mentioned DealCloud and how I thought they had the best product offering for a mid to later stage firm (at least from a CRM perspective, nothing that interesting on the data offering side). Attached a few screenshots I took of what I liked best…I think the company layout piece would be a good reference / starting point for your engineers in building out easier to use CRM functionality. In a lot of ways their UX is probably better than Sourcer.
- Also basically all of DealCloud’s architecture is built on the concept of many-to-many relationships which is really important to set up early - it’s a lot harder to migrate to this later on (which is where we’re at…).
- Does this help at all? Happy to go deeper with anything.
