Collective Intelligence

The coordinated use of AI by societies to address shared challenges — a step beyond individual AI assistants toward AI as shared infrastructure. In Peter Diamandis’s 2022 AI metatrend framing, “Collective AI” is the most novel claim: that societies using AI together could tackle global-scale problems that neither individuals nor institutions can solve alone, making AI a public good rather than a private tool.
