Bronze Age Mindset

A self-published 2018 polemic, issued under the pseudonym “Bronze Age Pervert” and written in a deliberately broken, aphoristic English. It argues for a vitalist ethic drawn from Nietzsche and from a reading of archaic Greece — physical excellence, aristocratic striving, contempt for modern bureaucratic and democratic life — against what it calls the flattening of the modern world. On its reputation, plainly: the book circulated by word of mouth rather than through a publisher, and it is widely and accurately associated with the online far right and the “dissident right,” where it functions as a founding text. It sits in the anti-library for the same reason The Camp of the Saints does — as a primary source for understanding a live strand of argument. This card records that the book appeared on someone else’s recommended-reading list; it is not an endorsement.
