Army Techniques Publication 7-100.3, August 2021. Approved for public release.

The Army’s own account of People’s Liberation Army tactics — command structure, formations, how the PLA thinks about the operational level, and what its doctrine says it will do. Written to train US units against a realistic opposing force.

A doctrine manual is an unusually honest document: it has to be accurate enough to train against, so it reflects what the Army actually believes rather than what it wants said publicly.
