How to Take Smart Notes — Zettelkasten Method in Roam Research (video)
A video walkthrough of the Zettelkasten method in Roam, with Kyle’s notes on literature and permanent notes.
Why it was kept
Kyle’s notes: literature notes must be in your own words — no copy-paste — though highlights can be pulled in and referenced; permanent notes exist to find connections and ‘add new value to your existing ideas’; learning is making connections, not collecting ideas; ask ‘in what circumstances would I want to stumble upon this idea?‘
